The silk twill scarves are taken from some Casagrande&recalcati oil paintings entitled Ipervanitas. The title establishes a link with the traditional "vanitas", but by adding the prefix "iper" the artists want to underline a sensual and bodily adherence to all that is fleeting, emphasizing how a reflection on the inexorable passing of time leads to the search for a new, and always changing, form of further beauty. Ipervanitas is therefore a tale of the fragile materiality of things and of the ephemeral as the essential foundation of human experience.
