MacLean by Duart Weathered is a soft red based tartan with shades of gray and yellow. This clan held extensive lands in the Western Isles and the Highland mainland. The MacLeans followed the MacDonalds, Lords of the Isles, and fought at the Battle of Harlaw in 1411. They grew powerful but lost their influence in the 16th century.
Tartan: MacLean by Duart Weathered.
Dimensions: 24cm x 180cm (9" x 70") including rope fringe.
Composition: 100% lamb's wool.
